Spanish I-today we took the quiz on numbers 0-39. We practiced writing the date and using the days of the weeks (handout). Friday is the quiz on the days and the months.

Spanish I-quiz tomorrow on numbers 0-39-as usual, spelling counts so make sure you practice by writing out the numbers!! During class we reviewed the days and months and completed verbal and written exercises from a handout to practice with these words.

Spanish I-yesterday we took the alphabet verbal quiz and completed p. 12 #3-9; today-copy page p. 13 vocabulary into notes and complete p. 506 #1 (at the bottom of the page)
Spanish II-yesterday we wrote vocabulary 7B in the notes and completed the back of the book work that corresponds; today we began our ser vs. estar unit (note and in class practice)
Spanish III-yesterday we finished the saber vs. conocer handout from Monday and began saber vs. conocer game; today we finished saber vs. conocer activity from yesterday and complete handout
Spanish IV-yesterday we received notes and practice on the use of "doubt" with the subjunctive mood

Spanish I-Today we had the quiz on p. 7 vocabulary. We continued to learn the alphabet. There will be a verbal quiz on the alphabet on Tuesday.
Spanish II-quiz on tener + que+ infinitive and chapter 7A vocabulary. We learned how to use "para" to say "in order to." We listened to "La Bamba," which uses this topic. There is a translation sheet for homework.
Spanish III-verbal practice with acabar de, review homework that collected on Wednesday as well as the quizzes from Wednesday. In class we completed p. 541 1 and 2 (handout)
Spanish IV-2 pages of notes for the subjunctive-the usages/formation as well as practice with the first use: wants, wishes, hopes, preferences

Sept. 7

Spanish I-quiz tomorrow on p. 7 vocabulary. Be able to spell correctly. Today we presented our dialogues, started to learn the alphabet and we reviewed for the quiz. Also, the syllabus was due today.
Spanish II-turn in writing activities (last night's homework p. 233 #6 and 8), read p. 230-231 about climates, complete verbal exercise #3 on p. 223. Tomorrow is the quiz on tener + que + infinitive and 7A vocabulary.
Spanish III-turn in writing activities homework, take quiz on the preterite tense, notes and verbal practice on "acabar de"
Spanish IV-watch short introductory video on the subjunctive and practice forming the subjuntive tense
